A Stocked Fridge: Rotterdam Portrait Photography Book Project

A Stocked Fridge: The Rotterdam Portrait Photography Book
Welcome to “A Stocked Fridge,” an ongoing street photography and portrait project based in Rotterdam. I am excited to announce the launch of this book, which aims to capture the diverse faces and voices of the city Rotterdam.
The Vision: Street Photography with a Purpose
I started this project with a simple goal: to capture different people on the streets of Rotterdam, from the center to the quiet neighborhoods. But this isn’t just about images; it is also about a conversation. I ask every participant a single, reflective question: “If you could change one thing in the city or in general, what would it be?”
Why “A Stocked Fridge”?
The title of this Rotterdam photography book, “A Stocked Fridge”, comes from the idea about judgment. We tend to judge people in the world without looking at their situation in life, their resources, and their hidden struggles. Through this portrait series, I hope to peel back those layers and show the humanity behind the strangers we pass every day.
